On October 23rd, the Palmetto Presbytery officially called JP as a church planter to the town of Orangeburg, equipping him to plant a multicultural church and minister to the people of Orangeburg county. At that same presbytery meeting, they approved an MNA (Mission to North America) budget of $15,000 for the Orangeburg church plant. Thank you for your prayers last week!
We are spending our last week finishing up our various jobs at Redeemer and getting things ready for all the people who will be taking over our responsibilities. This weekend, the Sibley family will be in Chattanooga. We will be visiting a multicultural PCA church called New City Fellowship and meeting with Randy Nabors and other New City leadership. We will also get to have some quality time with our dear friends, the Richmonds, including trick-or-treating around their block.
And we are diving headfirst into fundraising, now that everything’s really official!
